Get rid of insomnia with cherry juice

One of four people suffer from sleep problems, and 5% of adults frequently sleep less than five hours a night, according to statistics.

A simple and trivial cherry juice could be the solution for insomniacs, say scientists from the University of Rochester in New York, informs the Daily Mail. To reach this conclusion, researchers have placed volunteers in the morning and evening to drink a glass of unsweetened cherry juice.

Durring the study, specialists have divided subjects into several categories,and gave them to drink various fruit juices.

According to specialists, cherries were the only ones that have a sedative effect on the participants of the study.

Scientists say that this fruit has a high content of melatonin, a hormone that regulates the body's biological clock.

Moreover, nutritionists say that cherries contain anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants that reduce the risk of heart disease.

In addition, because of their abundance in active substances, cherries remineralize body, enhances digestion, limits the inflammatory process, relieves fever, prevent or eliminate the process of flu.

In terms of content,cherries: containing up to 89% water, about 8% sugar, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, provitamin A, vitamin B1, B2, C, E, P and B6.

Low in calories but rich in nutrients, cherries are recommended in the diets. According to nutritionists, it is advisable to do courses with their juice because it has an energizing effect,and it accelerates the intestinal transit.
